The golden Pilsner Urquell has been produced in Pilsen, Czech Republic, since 1842. In the same brewery, with the same water, and with an unchanged recipe. This preserves the world's first pilsner in its original form. The golden Pilsner is characterized by its typically bitter and intense aroma. The unique taste results from the combination of malty sweetness and the bitterness of Saaz aroma hops.
