 The Bayreuth brewery has set itself an ambitious goal: With down-to-earth beer, the brewers aim to meet the growing demands of modern beer connoisseurs and delight them with excellent brewing skills, hand-picked ingredients, and honest beers. To achieve this, they chose not a fancy beer style, but a Bavarian classic. The Helles is an unpretentious beer with simple ingredients. The brewers can't hide behind unusual brewing techniques or outlandish ingredients: The Helles must be brewed to perfection and masterfully.

 The Bayreuther Helle presents itself in a radiant golden hue in the glass and is capped by a majestic crown of snow-white foam. A tantalizing aroma of fresh, green hops, oven-fresh biscuits, spicy yeast, and sun-ripened grain invites the first sip. This reveals a light-footed beer with a wonderful balance of hops and malt. Soft, slightly sweet roasted malt tickles the palate, creating delicate notes of freshly baked stone-baked bread and biscuits. A clean hop note complements the malty splendor, conjuring a lovely bitterness into the beer alongside a hint of citrus. The finish is crisply bitter and delights with a subtle hint of white pepper.
